JAMES MENK

James' artistic career began in the Midwest where he thrived as a nature and wedding photographer, however his passion for photography has always been connected to the wilderness.

His deep connection to Old West history and the decades long conflict between European settlers and the Native people of this region influence much of his art.

He has special interest in photographing bison, the indigenous beast of the American plains.

James was named Artist of the Month for April, 2019 and received People's Choice, Best of Show and First Place awards from the Cheyenne, WY Artist Guild.
