AMY ALEXANDER
My inspiration is High Style Jewelry
I started making jewelry in high school, working with copper wire from a hardware store. In college I learned silversmithing - going on to becoming a nationally recognized silversmith.

Then disaster struck when my day job left me with carpal tunnel. That was the end of smithing for me.

I stared working with beads several years later and am now taking my inspiration from "High Style" jewelry. The results is a fresh approach to bead stringing. And I am feeling that I am again working at the same level as my silversmithing days.
