BRENDA TREUTHARDT

Brenda Treuthardt always had a camera in hand ever since she was a teenager. Now it’s a camera or two and a cell phone for instant gratification for Facebook & Instagram.

Her main focus is photography and her favorite subject is automobiles. Her dad had a passion for street rods which was one thing they shared as a family. Besides owning and building several cars herself she sees the beauty in all parts of a car from the old abandoned rusty ones to the gleaming chrome of a custom built.

With the obsession of cars she began engraving the glass on them, from wind wings to full murals on the back windows. Then she fine-tuned her craft going into wedding glasses and engraved eggs. Brenda‘s grandmother was and oil painter and a China painter. Her mother also an artist does acrylics and oil. You could say that Art runs through her veins.

Brenda’s photography has placed in the Civic Center photography show she has one several best and shows and peoples choices. She has been accepted into the Lincoln Galleries photography show for 2021.

Brenda is the president of the Cheyenne Artist Guild and has been reelected over the past 7 years. With this title she feels the needs to try new types of art. You can find more of her art at this location.
