DARLENE STEPHENSON

Darlene Stephenson

Darlene Stephenson developed her interest in watercolor painting over a span of many years, interrupted by raising a busy family of four sons, and working in Great Falls, Montana.

In retirement Darlene resumed her painting.  She was an active member of Studio 706 and The Art Association of Montana. Her work has been shown at various venues with both groups. Darlene chooses imagery that holds beauty, meaning, and sometimes nostalgia.

In recent years, Darlene’s signature style has evolved to incorporate historical photographs and vintage sheet music. The result is daintily detailed, a loving tribute to people and times gone by.

Darlene moved to Loveland, Colorado three years ago and has resumed her interest in art in this beautiful state.  She is a member of Windsor Lake Artists and a year ago won 1st place at the H20 Show at the Windsor Art & Heritage Center.  She is a basic member of the Lincoln Gallery, previously showing her art there.

A loving tribute to people and times gone by...
