DAVE JONES

The Poudre Canyon has been a source of strength and refuge for me ever since I moved here 40 years ago.  At that time, camping was still allowed along the river’s banks. My first home in Colorado was in a tent a few miles up the canyon from Ted’s Place where I got a job as a cook for the rest of that summer season.

I got married on the River, announced the pending birth of my first son there, celebrated my graduation from CSU on its banks, and so much more.
