Marcia Hobbs

My name is Marcia O. Hobbs. The O. Is to honor my maiden name and my Hoosier heritage.

I’m a country girl plain and simple, and I find my art follows my simple heart. Living in beautiful Colorado has opened a new love of the mountains and surrounding areas.

I do not have a long history in the art world. A beginners art class, at the Fort Collins Senior center a few years ago, sparked my love of working with colors and my passion for painting with acrylics.

I am looking forward to learning from, and gaining an appreciation of my fellow artists at the Sanderosa gallery.

I hope you can find a little joy in your heart for my paintings.
